What is Norcross Porchfest?

Norcross Porchfest is a free, community-driven music festival where local musicians perform on porches and in front yards throughout Historic Norcross. The festival is walkable, centered around Thrasher Park, and designed for families and neighbors to stroll between performances. Our first year in 2026 drew 1,500 attendees to hear more than 30 bands and performers across 12 porch stages. Volunteer or sponsor today to help make Year 2 even better.

When and where is Porchfest?

Norcross Porchfest 2027 will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2027, in Historic Norcross, with performances on porches and in front yards in the neighborhoods around Thrasher Park. The festival runs from 12 PM to 6:30 PM.

Do I need a ticket?

No tickets are needed. Admission is completely free, thanks to the support of sponsors and community donors.

How do I perform at Norcross Porchfest?

Artists can apply to perform on our website. Applications open November 15, 2026, and close January 15, 2027. A volunteer jury of neighborhood residents reviews every application, and the lineup will be announced in February 2027. Please review the Performer Terms before applying.

Where can I find the schedule and festival map?

The official schedule and festival map will be posted on the homepage in March 2027. On the day of the festival, maps and programs will be available at Porchfest HQ in the Norcross Woman's Club Library building off North Peachtree Street.

How do I get around at Porchfest?

Porchfest is designed to be walked. Streets in the festival zone close to vehicles from 12 PM to 6:30 PM, creating a safe space for all ages to explore on foot. Free parking is available at City Hall and several overflow lots nearby, and volunteers will be on hand to help with directions. Visit the Where to Park page for lots, a map, and walking times.

Will there be food, drinks, and activities?

Yes. Food trucks and local vendors will be set up near Thrasher Park, along with art vendors and activities for all ages. Downtown restaurants will be open and may offer Porchfest specials.

I'm a food or arts vendor. Can I set up at the festival?

Email Jonathan at norcrossporchfest@gmail.com if you're interested in setting up. Space near Thrasher Park is limited, and the vendor fee is $150. Tents and tables are not provided.

How do I volunteer my home as a host?

If you live within the festival zone, you can sign up to host artists on your porch or front yard. Porch hosts play a big role in bringing the festival to life, and it's one of the most fun ways to be part of the day. How are the musicians paid?

Performers volunteer their time and are not formally compensated. If you enjoy a set, we encourage you to tip the musicians directly.

What should I bring with me?

Wear comfortable shoes, and bring a folding chair or blanket, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, and some cash or a card for food, drinks, and artist merch. Families and well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome.

What if it rains?

Porchfest happens rain or shine. A little rain won't stop the music, and performances may move under cover if needed. Only severe weather that makes the day unsafe would delay the festival or move it to Sunday, May 2, 2027. Any updates will be posted on the website and at Porchfest HQ.

How can I get involved or volunteer?
