Porchfest will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Historic Norcross with performances happening in front yards and on porches in the neighborhoods around Thrasher Park. The festival will run in the afternoon, with final times announced soon.
Where can I find the schedule and festival map?
The official schedule and festival map will be posted at on the site a couple of weeks before the event. Printed maps and programs will also be available at the information tent and participating businesses on the day of the festival.
How do I get around at Porchfest?
Porchfest is designed to be a walkable festival. Most streets in the core zone will be open only to pedestrians during the event, creating a safe environment for all ages to explore on foot. Free parking will be available nearby in designated lots, and volunteers will be on hand to help with directions.
How can I volunteer my home as a host?
If you live in the festival zone and want to host a band on your porch or front yard, submit your interest through the Homeowner Application on the Get Involved page. Hosts help create the Porchfest experience and play a vital role in making the day possible.
Will there be food, drinks, and activities?
Yes, food trucks and local vendors will be set up in the festival area. There will also be art vendors and activities for all ages throughout the day. Downtown restaurants will be open and may offer Porchfest specials.
How are the musicians paid?
All musicians, porch hosts, and organizers participate as volunteers. Performers are not formally compensated, but attendees are encouraged to tip the musicians directly if they enjoy the performance.
What should I bring with me?
Wear comfortable shoes, bring a folding chair or blanket, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, and some cash or card for food, drinks, or artist merchandise. Families and well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome.
What if it rains?
Porchfest will take place rain or shine. Performances may move under cover or indoors if needed. If severe weather occurs, updates will be posted on the website and at the information tent.
