About Norcross Porchfest
Norcross Porchfest is a free, community-powered music festival in Historic Norcross. On Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 12PM to 6PM, 36 acts will perform across 12 porch stages tucked into the streets surrounding Thrasher Park. You can walk through the Historic Norcross neighborhood, follow the sound, and catch as many sets as you want. The local music festival is free: no tickets, no wristbands!
The lineup is diverse. Celtic fiddle, Southern soul, indie rock, Americana, jazz, funk with horns, teen rock covers, spoken word, and a few acts that don't fit any single genre. Every artist is local to Georgia, and each one was selected by a jury of Norcross residents from nearly 50 applications. Bring a chair, bring the kids, plan a route or wander without one.
The festival happens rain or shine. Plan where to park.
Historic Norcross is one of the oldest walkable districts in Metro Atlanta, and the homes around Thrasher Park are part of what makes it worth the trip. Craftsman bungalows, restored Victorians, and mid-century houses sit on tree-lined streets with deep front porches that were practically built for this. Most of the 12 stages are within a 10 to 15 minute walk of one another, with Thrasher Park as the central gathering point for food, drinks, and a place to land between sets.
A few logistical notes worth knowing: streets inside the festival footprint will be closed to vehicle traffic from 12PM to 6PM, and free parking is available at City Hall and several overflow lots within walking distance. Full details, a map, and walking times are on the Where to Park page.
Festival Organizers
Norcross Porchfest is organized by Kristen Corley and Jonathan Corley, residents of Historic Norcross, with the help of a growing team of volunteers, porch hosts, local sponsors, the City of Norcross, and Norcross Police. It is community-led from the ground up. There is no main stage, no headliner, no VIP section. The neighborhood is the venue, and donations go toward funding the basics: signage, sound, safety, and keeping the day free for everyone who shows up.
This is the first Norcross Porchfest. We plan to grow the Norcross porch footprint in coming years while keeping the festival small enough to feel like what it actually is: a Saturday afternoon on the front porches of a neighborhood that decided to open them up.
