Performer Applications Now Open for Norcross Porchfest 2026

Performer applications are now open for the first-ever Norcross Porchfest, happening Saturday, May 2, 2026. Musicians, bands, comedians, magicians, and all kinds of performers are invited to bring their talent to the porches and front yards of Historic Norcross for a day filled with live music, art, and community spirit.

Whether you’re an acoustic songwriter, a full garage rock band, or a solo performer with a unique act, this is your chance to be part of a new Norcross tradition. Performers will be selected by a volunteer review committee in January, and the final lineup will be announced in early February.

Applications are open through midnight on January 10, 2026. To apply, visit the Performer Application page on the Norcross Porchfest website. We can’t wait to hear the sounds and stories that will make this inaugural Porchfest one to remember.

Norcross Porchfest Homeowner Zones Taking Shape

We’re waiting for confirmation from Norcross city officials related to noise ordinance and street closures, but wanted to share an early preview of Norcross Porchfest boundaries and home zones.

To help everyone see the bigger picture, we’re sharing a map with simple zones, not pins or addresses. Some zones already have homeowners who have applied, while others are still wide open. This approach helps us track coverage and make sure the event feels balanced and welcoming for everyone.

Thrasher Park will be the center of Porchfest. We’ve clustered existing homeowner home host applications into the zones above. We’re excited to see this growing patchwork of neighbors who have already signed up to open their porches for music, art, and community.

We’ve heard a rumors that Porchfest has already “locked down” its footprint. That is not the case. These map zones simply show where homeowners have stepped forward so far, not a boundary line. If your street is not shaded yet, that just means there is still plenty of room for you to join in.

Being a Porchfest homeowner means helping turn your porch into a stage, your yard into a gathering spot, and your home into a thread in the larger fabric of the festival. If you have been thinking about signing up, now is the time. The more porches across our zones, the more music and community we can all enjoy together.

Norcross Porchfest: Volunteer Kickoff

Whether you help shape Norcross Porchfest behind the scenes or simply lend your porch or your support, your role matters.

If you’re feeling the spark like we are, now is the time. Sign up to volunteer or become a Resident Sponsor.

Let’s build something special.

Quick Porchfest Update:

Today was our first Porchfest Volunteer Kickoff at Cultivation Brewery, and the response from the Norcross community truly exceeded expectations. More than 30 volunteers showed up, and the energy was incredible. We are off to a strong start.

There’s still time to volunteer, so get involved today.

The website is now live, where you can find event details, ways to get involved, and a full list of FAQs.

Special thanks to Kat Whaley of Kat Ash Illustrations for creating the initial branding and design kit. Her work helped bring the spirit of Porchfest to life.

We announced plans for the inaugural Norcross Porchfest, taking place on May 2, 2026. The event will be centered around Thrasher Park, and we’ve officially secured the date with the city. There are hundreds of moving pieces, but after today’s warm reception, we’re confident we can bring this vision to life together.

3 festival directors introduced themselves today:

  • Kristen Corley, who writes the Young Norcross newsletter, is leading partnerships and sponsorships

  • Jonathan Corley, a longtime Norcross resident with a background in music, entertainment, and marketing technology, is leading marketing and artist outreach

  • Andrew Lydon, a local resident, logistics expert, and avid traveler, is leading finance and operations

Festival Directors outlined the main areas where Volunteers can jump in:

  • Day-of support such as artist check-in, merch tables, or porch management

  • Artist and marketing help including graphic design, video editing, and committee support

  • Sponsorship and partnerships, especially helpful if you have strong local business relationships

Resident Sponsorships are now open. For $250, you’ll receive a shoutout on the website, an exclusive “First Porchfest Backer” sign for your property, and access to the VIP after party in early 2026.

We’ve already had some Resident Sponsors step up, and we’re so encouraged by the momentum. Porchfest is about community, and it only works when we build it together. Whether you help shape the event behind the scenes or simply lend your porch or your support, your role matters.

If you’re feeling the spark like we are, now is the time. Sign up to volunteer or become a Resident Sponsor.
